INTAGLIO COLLECTION

The origin of intaglios are signet rings from Greek and Roman times. In the Victorian era, carnelian carved with Greek Gods were collected during "the Grand Tours" of the wealthy.  Soon British jewelers began to make them and intaglio watch fobs became a popular status symbol.  Our collection features solid carved intaglios and transparent pressed glass intaglios.
